Just because you are setting new goals for 2025 to get healthy and eat right, doesn’t mean you can’t have a great meal. This promises to be an inventive vegetarian meal, served family style, to get us over the dark winter blues. Vegans accommodated as well. Join me at Chicago’s Judson & Moore Distillery for a fundraising communal dinner. I’ll be cooking there, adding my contribution of a favorite soup and lots of sourdough loaves. Donations will benefit local anti-hunger organizations and the event is good “Soup for the Soul.” Each meal features an array of soups and breads prepared by local chefs. So come, meet new friends, enjoy warm soup on a cold night and best of all, help out local charities.

Since 2009, SOUP & BREAD raised over $100,000 for local food pantries providing food & community for Chicago’s most hungry.

“I Hate Love: Fourpeat.” It’s back! The dinner that you’d hate to miss, and our fourth installment of a ‘celebration’ on Valentines Day. You love it, you hate it, but it’s delicious. Come join friends and neighbors for this night of food and fun commemorating the most annoying of holidays. Don’t worry lovebirds, you are welcome too. This year’s dinner will be family style with lots of dishes to pass and share. Communal seating and BYOB.
